Known Requirement
Storage: Steam currently lists 100 GB available space in the minimum requirements.
Download Status
Available now: the official notice confirms pre-download through Steam and PURPLE. Downloaded files are encrypted and decrypt when access opens; decryption time depends on the PC.
What The 100 GB Requirement Means
The listed storage requirement should be treated as the minimum free space to reserve before the client is available. Launch downloads can also need temporary patching room, so players with a nearly full drive should clear additional space rather than stopping at exactly 100 GB. If the Steam client later publishes a preload window, this page should record the date, region and source before calling it confirmed.
Download Prep Checklist
- Free at least 100 GB before advance access.
- Use an SSD where possible because the storefront recommends it.
- Update GPU drivers and Windows before launch day.
- Check server status before assuming a download or login issue is local.
